Amidst a magical journey, an oafish ghoul and his soft exposed brain are met with ruin when the brain is unexpectedly killed. Though paralyzed, the ghoul attains a fresh brain and is fed with new life. An unassuming yet unsettling story of death and rebirth. This animated short was made for Hothouse 5, the NFB's program for emerging filmmakers, whose central theme was "The Time I Changed My Mind".

Batmilk

Au cours d'un voyage magique, le cerveau exposé et vulnérable d'une goule (vampire femelle) est subitement détruit. Bien que paralysée, la goule réussit à mettre la main sur un autre cerveau qui lui redonne une nouvelle vie. Histoire, à la fois sobre et troublante, d'une mort et d'une renaissance. Ce film a été produit dans le cadre du Hothouse 5, stage de formation offert aux cinéastes de la relève par le Studio d'animation de Montréal. Le thème central de cette cinquième édition était «La fois où j'ai change d'idée».
