The Pressure Zone is a hilarious send-up of the forces that try to shape adolescent minds and bodies. Two mirrors--one promoting the perfect body through a merciless regime of muscle building and dieting, the other through tapping into the "essential essence" via meditation and herbal remedies--vie for loyal customers. As each advertises their vision as the right way, the teens are prodded, taunted and provoked into submission by making them believe that their bodies need improvement, but then the teenagers take control back from the mirrors and accept themselves from the inside out.

Bien dans sa peau - Zone de haute pression

Zone de haute pression caricature les forces qui se disputent les esprits et les corps des ados. C'est l'histoire de deux miroirs qui s'affrontent dans un duel pour gagner l'adhésion de loyaux clients : l'un d'eux est le champion du corps parfait modelé à coups d'exercices de musculation et de diètes, tandis que l'autre puise à la «quintessence» par la méditation et la médication aux herbes. Le combat est aussi féroce que drôle. Chaque miroir propose une vision qu'il prétend la meilleure et utilise la provocation, l'ironie et le persiflage pour amener les ados à croire que leur corps a besoin d'un remodelage immédiat. Aucune tactique n'est trop déloyale. Les ados apprendront-ils à rendre les coups? Oui! Et ce qu'ils gagneront, c'est la conscience de leur vraie valeur et l'acceptation de leur être tel qu'il est. Amusant, vif et très physique.
